(Reuters) – A U.S. appeals court ruled on Thursday that Cisco Systems Inc (NASDAQ: NASDAQ: AG) overturned more than $2.75 billion in damages and royalties it paid to Virginia-based company Centripetal Networks Inc, which it accused of Copy its cybersecurity patents.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit in Washington, D.C., said the trial judge will be disqualified from hearing the case after learning that his wife owns Cisco stock. It said the case should be reassigned to another judge.
