The NFT marketplace is in certified goblin mode. goblintown NFT surged to the 1ETH cap, once again becoming the second largest collection of trading NFTs after BAYC. The ridiculous Twitter space, the lack of a roadmap to be accepted and cherished, and a few other nice things make this project truly the ultimate meme pfp collection. The real test, though, will be longevity.

Will Seth Green’s performance on his Boring Ape finally air? If you haven’t seen the story this week, mainstream headlines have already been sparked about actor and producer Seth Green’s intentions to create an animated comedy centered on his boring ape, which will later be released in a possible stolen in a phishing attack – leaving NFT watchers to speculate on what happens next and where rights ownership begins and ends.
For the latter issue, we noticed earlier this week that fashion brand Hermes was in a legal battle with creator Mason Rothschild over his “MetaBirkin” NFT series. Clearly, we are on the verge of much-needed legal rulings around some of these issues that will set the bar for future issues.

Updates to NFT marketplace OpenSea
Announcing and integrating today are some new OpenSea Updated user profile page and favorites page layout. The leading NFT platform also said in the announcement that they will “continue to roll out changes in the coming weeks, with the goal of focusing more on our community’s content, simplifying the experience and providing a richer experience for our OpenSea community.”
