Yes, Juul e-cigarettes are banned in the US, but we talked about that yesterday. But what are e-cigarettes? Replicants and 80s science fiction?Maybe not, but anyway, Nightdive Studios finally released Blade Runner: Enhanced Edition Available for Windows PC (via Steam), PlayStation, Switch and Xbox consoles. The modernized version runs at 60 frames per second instead of the original 15 frames per second, with updated animations and models.
At the time, Westwood’s 1997 game pushed the boundaries of graphics and gameplay. Instead of the usual fixed plot, blade runner Replicants and humans are changed with each playthrough, while also providing branching storylines.
Rather than relying on 2D art or crude 3D, the title uses voxels (pixels with 3D properties), providing more visual detail for the era, including volumetric lighting. Think of it as ray tracing for 90s games. However, this choice of graphics technology made it challenging to remake as it didn’t play nicely with the graphics card and then the source code was lost in the office relocation. For those who have played the non-licensed version, but hey, at least it works on your Switch.

Thinner, high-resolution phone cameras are on the way.
Despite having some of the smallest pixels to date, Samsung’s new 200-megapixel camera sensor features autofocus in every pixel, binning for better low-light capabilities and multi-gain ISO for maximum dynamic range.
With autofocus detection capability per pixel, Super QPD technology uses a single lens with more than four pixels for faster, more accurate autofocus. It can also combine four 0.56-micron pixels into a larger 1.12-micron 50-megapixel sensor for better low-light capabilities, or even 16 pixels into a 2.24-micron-sized sensor.

KnownOrigin, which has been around since 2018, provides a platform for artists to create and sell their artwork as NFTs in exchange for cryptocurrency payments.
