ISTANBUL (Reuters)-On Sunday, firefighters in Turkey struggled to put out wildfires still raging in the resort towns of Manavgat and Marmaris. Some tourists evacuated from Bodrum on the Aegean coast.

Authorities say that most of the dozens of fires that have erupted in Turkey in the past five days have been brought under control. However, Forestry Minister Bekir Pakdemirli said that Manavgat in the south and Marmaris in the west are still burning due to the extreme heat and wind.
