SINGAPORE (Reuters)-DBS Group (OTC:) Holdings Limited, the largest bank in Southeast Asia, faced an online banking service interruption for the second consecutive day on Wednesday after the service interruption began on Tuesday morning.
“Services have been restored this morning. Unfortunately, yesterday’s digital banking problem happened again, which affected our services,” Singapore’s DBS Bank said on its Facebook (NASDAQ:) page on Wednesday.
The interruption of its online service is the biggest interruption that DBS Bank has faced in the past decade.
DBS did not elaborate on the reasons for the interruption.
The user reported the power outage as early as 5:00 AM Singapore time (2100 GMT) on Wednesday morning, and submitted more than 700 reports before 9:46 AM local time. The power outage monitoring website Downdetector showed.
