Ranveer Singh praises Jayeshbhai Jordaar staff Ratna Pathak Shah, Shalini Pandey and more

Ranveer Singh is set to release his upcoming film Jayeshbhai Jordaar in a few days. Directed by Divyang Thakkar, this social comedy features Singh alongside Shalini Pandey, Ratna Pathak Shah, Boman Irani and more. With the film’s May 13 release date approaching, Ranveer Singh took the opportunity to praise his co-stars and crew.

Sharing a series of photos from the special screening, Ranveer Singh wrote helpful notes praising the key cast and key members of Jayeshbhai Jordaar’s team. On his Instagram Stories, he is pictured with Ratna Pathak Shah, who plays his onscreen mother. “A special and exciting post-screening moment with legendary playwright #RatnaPathakShah,” he wrote. In another story, he wrote: “I cherish my connection with the screen mom. One of the greatest actors I’ve had the pleasure of working with and learning from.”

He also praised his co-star Shalini Pandey who played the pregnant wife in Jayeshbhai Jordaar. He posted a story saying, “jaan for this girl! @shalzp she is so cute. Can’t wait to be blown away by her huge talent on the big screen.”

Speaking about his experience working with actor Boman Irani, he wrote: “The most extraordinary man! He is rare. Unique. I’m lucky to share screen space with him. A true artist. Beautiful man @boman_irani .”

Next, he shared a note dedicated to Pritam, saying, “Pritam da and I worked for the first time in Band Baaja Baaraat. Ten years later, we work in Jayeshbhai Jordaar. Happy moment for both of us!”

He also recalled an incident with Vishal Dadlani when he was asked by him as a fan for a selfie. “Beastman! From taking a fan selfie with him at the airport 15 years ago to having him voice and compose my movie – it’s been a wonderful journey with him! Still the warm, loving and Gentle People 2007. Just the coolest cat alive @vishaldadlani.”
