‘SNL’ took aim at itself Saturday night, teased Pete Davidson and Colin Yost Sink hundreds of thousands of dollars into a boat…that’s a lot of fun.
it starts with Alex Moffat Lying on the anchor stage, playing his role, “the man who just bought a boat”. Moffat then turned things around by introducing Pete Davidson as “the guy who just bought the ferry.”
Pete was amused, telling Colin: “Colin, we’re boat people now. I mean, you always have been. You look like you own the yacht on which they rented the rap video.”
Colin then offered a little clue as to how it all worked out, to which he replied: “It’s been very exciting. We thought through the whole thing.”
As we reported, Pete and Colin just bought john kennedy In auction…it’s part of the Staten Island Ferry fleet. They paid $280,000 for the boat and planned to restore it…and then turn it into a club that would be docked somewhere in New York City.
As you may know, both Colin and Pete are from Staten Island…he took the same ferry to New York City when he performed stand-up, and Colin took the ferry back and forth when he was in high school in Manhattan.
