Paul McCartney appears to support Johnny Depp at Orlando concert

Paul McCartney either in Johnny Depp–amber heard Legend – maybe a guy who supports JD – or…he’s just playing a tune/music video that happens to feature this guy.

Macca played Saturday at Orlando’s Camping World Stadium — just one of many stops on his “Got Back” tour right now — and at one point in the show…he started performing his track “My Lover, “The visual treatment of Depp’s cameo.

Check out this video obtained by TMZ showing PMC crooning on the piano while a funny image pops up on the big screens on either side of the stage – Johnny playing guitar, opposite Natalie Portman …who also appeared in Paul’s 2012 music video.

We were told that when Johnny first appeared in front of everyone…the whole stadium lost it and cheered. Paul didn’t say anything to fix that — he just kept playing — but we’re told, there’s no question that the feeling in the room was that he did it on purpose.

Now, reports have surfaced that Paul has actually been using the song and visual treatment throughout this year’s tour… which just happens to coincide with the trial. Sources tell us that during Paul’s last tour — the “Freshen Up Tour” in 2018-2019 — he didn’t play this.

So, on the surface…he seems to have deliberately chosen to put this on his list and have Depp make a cameo. If you bought that, you could certainly say he was Team Johnny.
