Occupied East Jerusalem– The Israeli occupying forces shot and killed a Palestinian man who carried out a shooting and stabbing attack, resulting in the death of an Israeli settler and wounding three others, including two police officers.

The violence occurred on Sunday morning at Bab al-Silsila (chain gate) in the Old City, leading to the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied East Jerusalem.

According to local reports, the Palestinian man was identified as 42-year-old Fadi Abu Shkhidem, a resident of Shuafat refugee camp in Jerusalem.

According to Israeli media reports, the 30-year-old settler suffered head injuries and died of his injuries after being transferred to the hospital.

According to a statement from the Hadassah Medical Center, another 46-year-old Israeli settler is in stable condition. Two police officers, aged 30 and 31, were also slightly injured.
