Ovickin scored his 750th career goal, Capps defeated the Blue Jackets 3-1

Alex Ovechkin scored his 20th goal of the season and the 750th goal of his NHL career, helping the Washington Capitals beat Columbus Blue 3-1 on Saturday night. The Jackets team and made two defeats.

Ovickin became the second fastest player to score 750 goals in the 1,222 regular season games. Wayne Gretzky reached 750 in 1,001 games and his record is 894 Ovechkin is chasing.
