After being asked by the media about Ranbir Kapoor and Arya Bhatt’s wedding, actress Nitu Kapoor was recently asked about her on-screen daughter-in-law Kiara Advani and her upcoming movie Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. In response, she has this view to the photographer.
In a video shared by the paparazzi, a videographer asks Nitu about her on-screen daughter-in-law, Kiara Advani. Jug Jugg Jeeyo brings the two actors together. Responding to the media, she exclaimed, “Tu mere bahu ke peeche kyu pada hain yaar?” (Why are you chasing my daughter-in-law?) Then, Dad said, “Bahu achi lagti hain (I love your daughter-in-law)” And added, “Bhale wo Alia ji ho ya Kiara ji ho (whether it’s your daughter-in-law Alia Bhatt in real life or Kiara Advani on screen)”. Neetu smiles and leaves the camera.
In response to the video, Kiara called Neetu “everyone’s favorite mother-in-law” on Instagram. “Me and everyone’s favorite mother-in-law @neetu54 aunt #jugjuggjeeyo,” she wrote.
Actor Ranbir Kapoor, son of Nitu, married actress Alia Butt on April 14. After the wedding, the paparazzi often approached Nito Kapoor on set to ask about her daughter-in-law, Alia. Neetu even responded in a video saying she was awesome.
Neetu is currently a judge on a dance reality show. She will also make a comeback in Jug Jugg Jeeyo. Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani and Anil Kapoor also star in the film. The film, which opens on June 24, will be her first project since the death of husband actor Rishi Kapoor in 2020.
In an emotional post last month about Rishi’s death on the second anniversary of his death, Neetu said: “Today is two years since Rishi Ji left us… Losing a partner of 45 years was Difficult and painful, the only way to heal my heart is to keep myself mentally fit…Movies and TV helped me achieve that. Rishiji will always be remembered and will always stay with everyone heart.”
