Naomi Judd’s public memorial host and performer announced


Sunday’s Publicly celebrating Naomi Judd’s life There will be tributes from family and friends, as well as unprecedented performances.

‘Good Morning America’ Robin Roberts, a close friend of the Judd family, will host the famed country singer’s memorial service who died in april.

She is 76 years old.

Ashley McBryde, Brandi Carlile, Emmylou Harris and Allison Russell, Little Big Town and The Gaithers are all on the artist’s schedule.

Bono, Morgan Freeman, Oprah Winfrey and Salma Hayek will also deliver special messages, according to a CMT press release that will broadcast the event.

Judd’s husband, Larry Strickland, will be in attendance. Her daughters Wynonna and Ashley Judd are also scheduled to appear.

Carly Pearce and Cody Alan will serve as CMT hosts, providing commentary throughout the festivities, which will be held at the Grand Ole Opry, the former site of the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee.

The special will air Sunday for free at 6pm EST.
