Nancy Pelosi’s husband Paul arrested in Napa for DUI

Nancy Pelosis husband, Paul Pelosiarrested this weekend for DUI… TMZ has learned.

The spouse of the Speaker of the House was arrested in Napa County just before midnight Saturday night and jailed hours later on two counts — driving under the influence and driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.08 or higher…both misdemeanors.

Details of the arrests have yet to emerge, and we’re working on getting the full account — and a mugshot, if any — but for now, that’s all.

By the way, the arrest information here is consistent with what we know publicly about Paul, especially his birthday – listed as April 15, 1940. In fact, this man is 82 years old.

No word on whether the Speaker herself was with Paul during this bankruptcy – as you know, she’s been working in Washington a lot…but since it’s Memorial Day weekend, she’ll probably be home with her family for a while – — but it seems unlikely. Currently, she appears to be in Rhode Island giving a commencement address to graduates there.

As far as we know, she has not publicly acknowledged Paul’s arrest, nor have her children or immediate family members.

Paul’s bail is set at $5,000 anyway – so we imagine he’s out at this point. He has been married to Nancy since 1963.
