An extremely rare piece from UNC’s game against Kansas in November 1981 – this is Jordan in Dean Smithtar high heels basketball team.
The ticket was tattered and poorly rated…but since it was thought to be the only surviving stub of the night – it could make a fortune.
In fact, experts are Heritage Auction Say it could be over $10,000!
Jordan stubs have been hot at auction lately… Earlier this year, Jordan’s 1984 debut Chicago Bulls stubs (23 stubs available) sold for $99,000.
Jordan’s career at North Carolina was legendary…over his three seasons, he averaged 17.7 points and shot 54 percent from the field. He also won the Naismith and Wooden College Player of the Year awards in 1984.
Of course, MJ’s most memorable Tar Heels moment was when he played against the 1982 NCAA Tournament Patrick Ewing and Georgetown Hoyas.
