Tokyo (Associated Press)-Katie Ledecky won her first gold medal at these Olympics, and Simone Biles withdrew from her participation in the Summer Olympics In another competition, she hopes to win.
On Wednesday, Ledki recovered from her defeat in the first two games in Tokyo and won the first women’s 1500m freestyle championship by more than 4 seconds.

Jed Carey, who finished ninth in the qualifying, will replace Byers in the all-around competition.
Britain won the men’s 4x200m freestyle relay at the Olympics for the first time since 1908, but it just missed a world record.
Britain’s strong team that finished 1-2 in 200 freestyles won the game in 6 minutes and 58.58 seconds. This is far from the world record set by the Americans in the 2009 World Championships (6:58.55). This is the first British gold medal in the event since its debut at the first London Olympics.
