Jenny Ann Rose, The little girl who appeared in the iconic movie “This is a good life” has passed away… TMZ has confirmed.
Jenny spent New Year’s Eve at her home in Los Angeles. We were told that she had been battling a disease for months-an abdominal infection-and died of it. We were told that this has nothing to do with COVID.
Jenny played Violet Piccolo, also known as Little Violet, in the 1946 film. She once said, “This is the only movie I have participated in. It is an amazing experience to spend a lifetime in such a collectively meaningful picture.”
But nothing more. Jenny said that when she entered UCLA and decided not to pursue a performing arts major, her acting career ended. She wanted to pursue a career helping others and consider nursing, but decided to become a psychologist and eventually became a Jung analyst.
She actually saw the connection between her career choice and the “good life”, she said, “It is obvious that my wish is to help those who are struggling to find meaning in life-this is the same as helping George see in the movie Clarence has a different meaning in his life.”
“A Wonderful Life” is not Jenny’s first performance… She appeared in the “Jack Barney Show” when she was 8 years old, as little Alice Harris.
Jenny is married Eugene Richard Ogg In 1964, she was surrounded by relatives, including her son Joe, When she passed.
Jenny is 84 years old. RIP
