“These activities are even more regrettable because they happened when we made progress in the Vienna nuclear negotiations,” the French Foreign Ministry said.

“We call on Iran to stop launching ballistic missiles designed to carry nuclear weapons, including space launchers.”

Tehran denied that its space activities were a cover for the development of ballistic missiles or violated UN resolutions.
