Just a year and a half ago, there seemed to be an unpleasant relationship between Snoop Dogg and Eminem, both disciples of Dr. Del Rey. Now, the legendary rapper has a new music video, and they’re called The Boring Ape.

Two hip-hop legends have reunited to release a new music video for their followers. This time around, they launched Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC), a collection of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) built on the Ethereum blockchain.
A new music video titled “From The D 2 The LBC” showcases Eminem and Snoop Dogg’s ape-animated characters. It is produced by 1st AMENDMENT and Young California in collaboration with BAYC.
The song has the two of them shout out their respective hometowns of Detroit and Long Beach in the chorus:
“If you live in 213, hold your little things up high and let’s see them being raised/Whether you’re on the east or west side of 313, let’s see their gunshots.”
The video then cuts to Em and Snoop, who morph into animated, boring ape-like avatars as they perform their verses—a song that was recently previewed live by the duo at Ape Fest 2022.
It should be noted that Eminem and Snoop are already familiar with the world of NFTs and have dabbled in it before.According to Cointelegraph, Eminem, also known as Marshall Mathers III, purchased a NFTs from OpenSea’s NFT marketplace Become a member of the Bored Ape Yacht Club for $462,000.
In April, Snoop Dogg was declared a Principal Investor of MoonPay, import and export services, and “industry VIPs” like Justin Bieber, Bruce Willis and Ashton Kutcher. MoonPay has also partnered with Dogg’s Death Row Records to create an NFT marketplace.
