Electric Car Owner Says His Hacked Tesla Model 3 Mines Up to $800 a Month in Ethereum – Mining Bitcoin News

According to Siraj Raval, the owner of a 2018 Tesla Model 3, he mined up to $800 a month in crypto assets with his hacked electric car. Raval also hacked his Tesla Model 3’s onboard internal firmware to mine cryptocurrencies, a process he noted as the most profitable method other than using the GPU. Allesi and Raval aren’t the only ones thinking of using electric vehicles to mine digital assets. In June this year, Canada-based electric vehicle company Daymak reveal plans launched a Spirit Ability to mine cryptocurrencies.

In January last year, the publication PC Gamer report Simon Byrne’s BMW i8 can mine Ethereum (Ethereum) with battery system.
