Dave Chappell is the new owner of a huge piece of property…a purchase he made to stop a land developer from moving into the quiet Ohio village where he once lived.
Dave’s representative confirmed that he recently purchased several acres of land in Yellow Springs, Ohio, formerly owned by Oberer Land Developers, Ltd. – which has announced plans to create a huge subdivision that will occupy 52 of the village’s acres of land.
As you know, Dave shined when the Yellow Springs Town Council held a public meeting in February.
Chappelle made it clear that he be opposed Pushed the project to Oberle and threatened to launch his own business venture in the area – a planned restaurant/comedy club called Firehouse Eatery.
Council finally approved the development, but it now appears Dave has blocked – or at least scaled back – the subdivision plan by snapping up some of the Ombre property.
According to local reports, Dave Purchased at least 19 acres of landWe’re trying to confirm that, because the big question is whether the comedian is still at war with developers after his latest real estate move.
