Connecticut high school hockey player Teddy Barkind A roller skate slashed his neck during a game last week and tragically died… the Connecticut chief medical examiner’s office announced Monday.
Officials have officially ruled Barkind’s death an “accidental”… revealing the cause as a “neck incision.”
Barkinder was only a sophomore.
As we reported earlier, terrible event It happened last Thursday at St Luke’s in Greenwich vs. Brunswick School… Authorities say Balkinder fell on the ice and was accidentally hit by his opponent.
According to Greenwich Police, Barkind was taken to hospital…but died of his injuries.
Two schools express deep remorse after tragedy… St Luke’s School in Barkind closed on Friday and reopened on Monday with a “special timetable”.
Meanwhile, NHL teams and players have paid tribute to Balkind over the past few days… The Los Angeles Kings observed a moment of silence for Teddy on Saturday.
