At least the actor who played him in “Sex and the City” is supporting the actress who played her.
North plays Mr. Big, Parker plays the role of Kelly Bradshaw’s beloved, and Catroll plays one of her best friends, Samantha Jones.
Although North and Parker are resuming their roles in the new HBO Max series, Catroll is not involved. (HBO Max and CNN are both part of WarnerMedia.)
North told Catroll’s “Guardian”, “I have no idea what she is thinking or her emotions.”
“I know I’m very close to SJ, and [Cattrall’s] The description of her is not even close,” he said. “I like [Cattrall], I think she performed well on the show, and some people keep going for their own reasons. I don’t know what she is. “
“I just hope the whole thing never happened because it is sad and uncomfortable,” he added.
For years, people have been speculating about the tension between Parker and Catroll.
“My mother asked me today’@sarahjessicaparker, when will that hypocrite let you go?'” Catroll wrote in the caption of the photo. “Your constant helping hand is a painful reminder of how cruel you were then and now.”
“Let me be clear. (If I haven’t already) you are not my family. You are not my friend,” she added. “So I am writing this letter to tell you for the last time, don’t use our tragedy to restore your’good girl’ image.”
Parker said at the time: “I found this very frustrating because this is not the way I recall our experience.”
CNN has contacted Cattrall representatives to comment on Noth’s interview.
“Just like that…:” premiered on HBO Max on Thursday.
