Vicky Whiteex-prison officer charged with aiding murder suspect Casey White Escaping from an Alabama prison, she had a gun in her hand when a police chase ended in a car crash.
The Indiana Police Department in Evansville, Illinois just released body camera footage captured on Monday where you see Casey being towed away as an officer reaches their overturned pickup.
Vicky was still in the car, and as officers tried to figure out how to free her from the wreckage, they noticed she had a gun in her hand, her finger on the trigger, and she was breathing despite the gunshot wound.
Minutes later, police finally pulled Vicky’s limp body out of the truck from the sunroof, but couldn’t do it until the gun was pried open.
This is part of a just-released 911 call made during the manhunt by Vicky and Casey White. You can hear what appears to be Vicky saying “The airbags are coming off. Let’s get out there and run.”
