Cardano founder and ETH developer caught up in a war of words on Twitter

Last week’s Twitter post revealed a series of heated arguments between the Cardano founder and Ethereum co-founder and Vitalik Buterin.

The co-founders have argued over the implementation of the POS consensus mechanism during several backlash over the failed ethereum upgrade. A lot has happened in the past few days following the Ethereum upgrade. Plus, there are more Shanghai-like upgrades.

On Saturday, September 24, Web3 investor Evan Van Ness expressed his thoughts on the Ethereum merger. Fan asserted that the last ten days after the merger proved that the merger should have happened earlier.

Buterin saw Van Ness’ tweet and agreed with him that they should implement a POS-based NXT-like chain.

Charles Hoskinson claims Ethereum POS is a bad design

Hoskinson join in A conversation with Buterin-Van Ness, saying there should be a Snow White protocol to ensure faster POS migration. Hoskinson’s opinions were at odds with those of others, which led to arguments among him, Van Ness, and other ethereum developers.

Snow White is a protocol that provides end-to-end security proofs for POS systems. Hoskinson has been an advocate for Snow White for many years. Hoskinson claims that his idea for a technical upgrade to the Ethereum network in 2014 was better than the current upgrade.

Van Ness recall Hoskinson was removed from Ethereum for bad behavior and lack of significant technical contributions. Hoskinson accused Ethereum developers of neglecting Ouroboros for the past five years.

Ouroboros is a secure proof-of-stake blockchain and the first protocol based on peer-reviewed research. He also said that the current proof-of-stake upgrade is poorly designed.

In their argument, Ethereum’s core developer Hudson Jameson echoed Hoskinson’s Ouroboros implementation statement. Jameson told Hoskinson that Ethereum developers hate Cardano because of his actions and actions.

Ethereum developers also spoke about Hoskinson’s abuse of Ethereum when he created Cardano. He also said that Valtalik reviewed Ouroboros.

Charles Hoskinson on Cardano’s success

Hoskinson boasted that Cardano doesn’t rely on cryptocurrencies to succeed, and they have grown to billions without mass adoption.

While a similar debate between Hoskinson and Ethereum developers is not new, it shows how separate the two blockchains have become.

Both the Ethereum network and Cardano are in the midst of intensive upgrades, but Hoskinson is known for his bullish views on previous projects.

The Cardano Vasil upgrade and hard fork took place on Thursday, September 23rd. Input Output Hong Kong (IOHK), the blockchain company behind Cardano, announced a successful upgrade via Twitter.
