11:50 AM PT – Looks like Cynthia is happy with the chores…she just posted, “All I want to do is shovel!”
A Canadian dude – also a government official – was left with all kinds of drags for shoveling snow for his wife a public ‘Atta girl’ after a hard day’s work on the front line of a hospital.
Jon ReyesManitoba’s Minister of Economic Development and Employment tweeted on Saturday a sweet photo of what he apparently thought was his wife, Cynthia … subtitle it… “Even after a 12 hour night shift at the hospital last night, my wife still had the energy to shovel the driveway. God bless her and all of our frontliners. Time to make her breakfast.”
In one of the most unsurprising reactions so far this year, people are going nuts… curious why Jon isn’t walking out with a shovel, at least helping.
It got worse…you might think Jon is also having a tough day dealing with the economic fallout in the current COVID crisis, but he tweeted earlier in the day watching tennis.
Now the funny thing is… Canadians are more polite than Americans. Here’s how Jon was dragged…
“She did it only because you didn’t do it in her absence. I’m sure after 12 hours to see it wasn’t done, she would roll into the house angrily. Decided to shovel angrily.”
“What’s wrong with your hand? That’s too bold for me? The whole tweet is gray.”
“And *you* don’t bother to shovel things instead of taking pictures and tweeting from your room, what’s the reason, what exactly? She only worked 12 hours. What are you doing?”
