Although the infection rate has broken records, the head of the WHO has offered hope of ending the pandemic.

This is the third year of the pandemic.

COVID-19 has infected 300 million people and killed 5.5 million people.

The number of infections driven mainly by Omicron variants is breaking records in North America, Europe, and Asia.

Nevertheless, WHO believes that if all countries work together, the pandemic can end this year.

Many studies have found that the disease caused by Omicron is milder than other variants.

Some scientists believe that Omicron can replace Delta and mark the beginning of the end of the health crisis.

But does such confidence make sense?
