Bobby Brown says Janet Jackson is ‘the crush of my life’


Bobby Brown The marriage is happy, but he still sounds a little obsessed with Janet Jackson.

“Janet is the love of my life,” Brown said in his two-night A&E documentary “Biography: Bobby Brown.”

“What happened to Janet?” he said. “Everything. Her little smile, her body, her dance steps, her little laughter.”

The document includes old footage of Brown saying he was “crazy in love with her” in an interview with BET, as well as an interview with Jackson’s ex-boyfriend, producer/artist Jermaine Dupri, who said that when he and When Jackson was dating, he would make fun of her about her relationship with Brown.

Brown said he and Jackson “liked each other’s company” but “didn’t have that long relationship.”

According to Brown, things didn’t work out “because she couldn’t be with a man like me.”

“I’m from the project. I’m the hood,” he said. “And her father [Joe Jackson] Wouldn’t let her be with someone like me. ”

Brown soon hooked up with Whitney Houston, whom he called the love of his life. The two were married from 1992 to 2007.

Houston died in 2012. She is 48 years old.

Brown is currently married to Alicia Etheridge Brown. They appear in a new reality series “Bobby Brown: Every Step” with their three children.
