“Breaking Bad” aired for five seasons between 2008 and 2013, seeing Cranston’s Walter White and Paul’s Jesse Pinkman initially getting the criminal defense lawyer Solgood played by Odencock Mann’s services to help them launder money.
Odencock’s “Better Call Saul” is currently in production for the sixth and final season. As the prequel to the show, he will play a nominal role.
In a statement, the Odencock couple thanked the medical staff for taking care of the actors and fans for their blessings.
News of Odencock’s illness also prompted his “Better Call Saul” co-star to send out a message of support.
Michael McKean plays his brother Chuck in the series, and he is one of many people who wish the actor good luck on social media. “Express deep love to our @mrbobodenkirk. Brother, you see,” McKean tweeted.
Odencock was nominated for four Golden Globe Awards and four Primetime Emmy Awards for his role as Saul Goodman.
