LAS VEGAS — Sunday’s Billboard Music Awards will feature performances by Travis Scott, Ed Sheeran, Becky G and other chart-successful artists.
Sean “Diddy” Combs will host the show, which is being broadcast live at the MGM Grand Arena and will be broadcast live on NBC and its Peacock streaming service starting at 8 p.m. ET.
Becky G, who released her album “Esquemas” on Friday, will perform her hit “MAMIII,” which topped Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart. Sheeran will perform remotely in Northern Ireland, where he is currently touring.
Other performers on stage include Scott, nominated in the dance/electronic music category, as well as Miranda Lambert, Meghan Thee Stallion, Morgan Wallen and Grammy darling Silk Sonic.
Nominees are determined by Billboard chart rankings, and winners are selected based on several criteria, including their album and digital song sales, broadcast and streaming success, and touring.
