Rehoboth Beach, Delaware (Reuters) – U.S. President Joe Biden said on Monday he was unlikely to visit Ukraine when he travels to Europe for a summit with Washington’s allies later this month.
Biden also said in an interview with reporters that he thinks Ukraine has a good chance of becoming a member of the European Union.
Later this week, EU leaders are expected to bless Ukraine as a candidate for formal accession, a decision that will be seen as a victory for Kyiv in its fight against Russian aggression.
