Auto companies argue right-to-repair laws are unconstitutional

John Deere, Apple, and many others have been doing this for years. They create hardware, insert some pointless/useless code snippet, and say BOOM… DMCA protected, you can’t fix it unless you get hardware with code snippets from us. Oh, and you pay extra for our right to do this because we’re good. Otherwise, it is a violation of the DMCA and we can sue you.
