Apple abandoned Intel, and it paid off: gadgets

The whole thing is very bold, maybe only Apple can do it. They made a mainstream RISC processor on a desktop/notebook computer, and only the CISC processor was the dominant one. There have been some episodes before RISC. Apple even had models based on IBM Power processors for a long time, but despite their power, they were crushed by Intel every time.

Now bringing 5 million processes to desktops/laptops, they will definitely reduce the power per watt, and the M1 is a powerful enough processor for mainstream use. This was a heavy move, but my hard work paid off.
