Skill Hicks – One of the contestants who participated in the “America’s Got Talent” – has passed away… TMZ understands.
The young singer-songwriter passed away on Monday and was found lifeless in a friend’s house-according to her mother, Jodi. She said that she did not know the real homeowner. Skilyr’s body was found in Liberty, South Carolina.
Although the exact cause of her death—including the cause of death—is still unknown to her family, Jodi told us that her daughter struggled with mental health problems, including depression and substance abuse. She also said that Skilyr is loved by her family and four siblings-using her music to help people in need. Jody said, “She will live through her music.”
Hicks, who was only 14 years old, appeared in the 8th season of “AGT” in 2013 and auditioned Mel B, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel with Howard Stern …And left enough impressions on them to move on to the next round.
