According to the e-commerce giant, it will not accept encrypted payments by the end of 2021. However, it still shows interest in the field of blockchain technology and encryption.

On Monday, Amazon.com insiders were interviewed by the media and refuted these rumors, saying that Amazon currently has no specific digital asset payment plan.

An Amazon spokesperson said,

Although we are very interested in this area, the speculation surrounding our specific plans for cryptocurrency is not true. We are still focused on exploring what this will look like for customers shopping on Amazon.
